Missouri Periodicals
Genealogical journals provide you with quite a few sources of information, they are often missed by genealogy researchers and genealogist in researching for family history. A lot of regional and county genealogical and/or historical societies issue periodicals which include records referring to the region or locality they support. Indexes are available through the society.
- Minnesota History, published quarterly by the Minnesota Historical Society. It is indexed usually contains three to four full-length historical articles.
Missouri Historical & Genealogical Societies
For almost every state there is a state genealogical society, a state genealogical council, or both. In addition to their own work, Missouri groups in some cases help manage the efforts of area societies within the Missouri.
